Heavy Duty
Symons recognizes the need for durable, rugged forming equipment. The Adjustable Column system is no exception.
The system is built to withstand the daily punishment of any concrete forming project with a design rating of 2000 pounds per square foot. The all-steel system has a 3/16" steel face sheet and has holes for standard ¾" Speed Bolts every 2" O.C. No internal ties are required, even for 48" square columns!
Unlike other column forming systems, Symons uses 3/16" steel plate for the forming surface. The heavier plate allows faster pour rates with less deflection.
Utility and Versatility
Four panel widths (24", 36", and 48") and five panel heights (1', 2', 4', 8', and 12') are available. Panels can be combined in an overlapping pattern to create rectangular configurations in 1" and 2" increments.
The versatility of the system allows considerably more possibilities for reuse. The higher utilization rate lowers form costs per use and reduces inventory necessary to form a wide variety of column sizes.
Excellent Concrete Finish
The steel face plate provides an excellent, consistent concrete finish every pour. Flush hole plugs ensure a smooth finish, and patching is minimized since the system requires no internal ties! In addition, the standard ¾" steel chamfer on all corners creates a smooth edge finish.
These features add up to considerable time savings and help control costs by reducing labor.
