What is the largest panel size for the Alisply system?
The largest panel is 3m x 2m (approximately 9'-10" x 6'-7").What does an Alisply gang weigh?
Many factors determine the final weight of a gang, but a typical gang weighs approximately 13 pounds per square foot.
What type of face material does Alisply have?
The face material is a phenolic resin-coated 15mm (5/8") Birch plywood, which provides superior strength, durability and finish.
What is the frame material?
The Alisply forming system features a galvanized steel frame for strength and long service life.
How strong is Alisply?
With just two ties per 3m panel height, Alisply is designed to withstand a concrete pressure of 6000 kg per square meter (1228.8 pounds per square foot) at the industry standard 2:1 safety ratio.
How are Alisply panels connected?
Alisply utilizes connecting clamps which require no tools. Only two types of clamps are necessary, reducing jobsite confusion and increasing productivity. The Connecting Clamp has a simple lever action to connect panels, and the Adjustable Clamp is used with fillers up to 25cm (10") wide. Neither clamp requires special tools.
How many clamps are needed?
Only three clamps are needed for each vertical connection for a 3m x 2m panel.
Can Alisply be used with other Symons forming systems?
Yes! A Transition Filler allows Alisply to be used with Steel-Ply®, Versiform®, Max-A-Form® or Flex-Form®. This provides contractors with productive options and forming design flexibility.
Are there provisions to attach safety devices to the Alisply system?
Yes! A Tie-Off Bar provides a convenient place to attach safety hooks. It meets the OSHA 5000 pound capacity requirement for personal fall protection. The Tie-Off Bar design improves worker safety without reducing productivity.
Can Alisply be used for Core Walls?
Yes. The Alisply system has a 3-piece stripping corner which allows stripping, moving and setting of almost any size core wall.
Is Alisply rentable?
Symons offers North American contractors several options so that they can choose one that fits their business needs:
