The Spray-Rite texture system is a specially formulated material for resurfacing existing concrete surfaces.

This exclusive system is based on a high-strength cement coating, specially formulated to resurface existing concrete. It provides a durable, easily maintained and permanent color finish, engineered to withstand temperature extremes and intense sunshine.

Contractors can enhance the appearance of existing concrete surfaces with the Spray-Rite system of colored textures and pattern templates.

For a surprisingly economical price, the Spray-Rite colored texture system can transform plain, damaged, or stained concrete surfaces into exciting, attractive textured surfaces.

A variety of colors and pattern templates are available. They can provide countless combinations of colors, patterns, and finishing techniques.

The Spray-Rite System is a specially formulated material for resurfacing existing concrete surfaces. This color-fast, polymer-modified cementitious system provides a durable thinset surface with exceptional adhesion. A variety of colors and finishing techniques create an architectural finish.

Basic Spray-Rite application steps include:

1. Remove chipped concrete, aggregate, dirt, old coatings, paints or sealers from the concrete surface. Thoroughly sweep and clean the surface scheduled for texture.
2. Repair serious concrete surface defects with an appropriate Symons patching material before applying Spray-Rite texture and finish.
3. Prepare the concrete surface for texture pressure washing. Recommended equipment is a 3000 psi pressure washer with sandblast attachment.
4. Select a Liquid Colorant and mix with the additive according to instructions. Mix color additive to the Spray-Rite Grout per instructions. Apply this smooth base coat with a trowel at an average application rate of .3 lbs/sq. ft.
5. Allow the Spray-Rite surface to dry partially, then skip trowel the high spots for added texture and appearance.
6. Stencils or tape can be applied to create custom designs.
7. Mix desired finish coat color with additive and Spray-Rite Grout. Apply finish coat with a hopper gun at an average application rate of .5 lbs/sq. ft.
8. Allow the surface of the finish coat to partially dry, then skip trowel to create the desired texture. Always close the spray texture with a trowel to ensure the application does not remain open or porous.
9. Do not disturb the final surface texture for at least 24 hours. Allow the material to thoroughly dry before allowing foot traffic. The dry surface may be sanded if necessary.
10. Decorative Sealer WB - UV Resistant, a non-yellowing acrylic, should be applied in two applications to protect the Spray-Rite surface and reduce maintenance.
