Room Tunnel concrete forming system is a "half-tunnel" system that is simpler, lighter and faster to handle than "full-tunnel" systems. The half tunnel design also provides greater dimensional versatility for potential reuse on other projects.
The Room Tunnel is designed with a 3/16" thick steel skin plate backed with steel ribs. This sturdy design minimizes interior bracing for a clear walk-through area. The design also provides a smooth finish with no deflection. Fast, efficient magnetic hold-downs reduce costs for slab edges and blockouts, improving cycling time.
The Room Tunnel system has been used for "one room, per day, per form". That means faster project completion schedules and reduced costs for both the contractor and the owner.
